What forgiveness is

I would like to share the following with you. Whilst researching forgiveness I came across this letter written by a convicted serial killer whilst on death row.  He was executed in 2005 after 18 years on death row.  Clarity of vision and clarity of expression are often to be found in unexpected places.         What forgiveness is    "Forgiveness is a form of realism.
